1. About us
UrTrade is a software service operated by a sole trader based in London, United Kingdom. By using UrTrade, you agree to these Terms.
2. What we provide
UrTrade is a tool for self-employed tradespeople and trade businesses to create quotes, send invoices, collect deposits, and manage their business. We do not provide trade services ourselves and are not a party to any contract between you and your customers.
3. Your account
- You must be 18 or older to use UrTrade.
- You are responsible for keeping your password secure.
- You are responsible for all activity under your account.
- One account per business. Sharing accounts is not permitted.
4. Subscription and payment
- UrTrade is a paid subscription service charged monthly at the rate shown at signup.
- Payment is taken in advance for each billing period.
- You can cancel at any time from your account settings. Your subscription remains active until the end of the paid period.
- We do not provide refunds for partial months.
- Free trials, if offered, automatically convert to paid subscriptions unless cancelled before the trial ends.
5. Payments to you
- Stripe processes payments from your customers to you.
- Payments are subject to Stripe's terms. We do not control or guarantee Stripe's services.
- We are not responsible for any disputes, chargebacks, or payment delays between you and your customers.
6. Your responsibilities
You agree to:
- Provide accurate information about your business.
- Comply with all UK laws and regulations applicable to your trade.
- Hold appropriate insurance and qualifications for the work you perform.
- Honour the quotes and contracts you enter into with your customers.
- Not use UrTrade for illegal, fraudulent, or harmful purposes.
7. Customer data
- You are responsible for any customer data you enter into UrTrade.
- You confirm you have permission to store their data on our platform.
- We act as a "data processor" under UK GDPR; you are the "data controller" for your customer data.
8. Content and intellectual property
- We own UrTrade, including all software, branding, and intellectual property.
- You own your business data (your quotes, invoices, customer list).
- You grant us a licence to host and display your data so we can provide the service.
9. Service availability
- We aim for high availability but do not guarantee 100% uptime.
- We may perform maintenance which may cause temporary downtime.
- We are not liable for losses caused by service unavailability.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
- We provide UrTrade "as is" without warranties of any kind.
- Our total liability to you in any 12-month period is limited to the fees you have paid us in that period.
- We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or business losses.
11. Termination
- You can cancel your account at any time from settings.
- We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms or applicable laws.
- On termination, your data is retained for 30 days then deleted, unless legally required to keep it longer.
12. Changes to terms
We may update these Terms. Significant changes will be notified to your registered email at least 30 days in advance.
13. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of England and Wales.
